I wish her cutie mark would show up more, but it was the best I could get color-wise that would stand out without using white. I marathon stitched her, so it took only 2 days.

You guys have no idea how glad I am to be finished with this. It took forever. So. Many. Thread. Changes. Needless to say I won’t be doing this one again any time soon. This makes me actually WANT to go back to stitching ponies.

Summer Song

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I last wrote. Blame school, it really put a damper on... well, everything. Anyways, now that I'm finished for the semester I'm super duper excited to get back to crafting.

I'm about to make my first sale too! A friend of a friend saw me about to start on Derpy Hooves (who will be posted up a little later when I have some good natural light for a photo) and told me they wanted to buy it. I was so surprised! I would think they'd at least want to see the finished product, but I guess that's the allure of favorite characters. I'd be up for getting my hands on some cool PinkiePie or BigMac merch myself.

Oh, and did you guys see the season 2 finale? The villains in MLP:FiM are always so cool, and Chrysalis is no exception. I'd love to stitch her sometime. Too bad my list is already so long.
Coming up next is pirate Pipsqueak. It's sure to be extra adorable, so please look forward to it.

07- Fancy Gummy

The only thing better than PinkiePie's beloved, toothless pet alligator Gummy is when he's in a tux!

Gummy took 3-4 days and fits in a 5x7" frame. However, since I failed to really check this before cutting the aida he'll be made into a cute little pillow.

05- Gift-Bearing Chocobo

Gift bearing chocobo~ I made this with a pattern put up by a super nice cross-stitcher on DeviantArt. The next time I make it I will probably tweak the present’s colors, but I figured it’d try it with the specified colors first. It looks kind of small in a 5x7” photo frame, so I’m thinking of adding a border or getting a smaller frame.

04- PinkiePie

My first project of the new year was a pretty fitting one, PinkiePie from MLP:FiM. Why is it fitting, you ask? Because I play her in our cosplay dance group. She is the pony I most resemble- I bake, I sing, and I like to have fun.

Anyways, this was my first exercise in doing a smaller scale pony. Not everypony reduces very well, especially when it comes to some of their cutie marks. But now I know it can be done. I have one MLP:FiM character left to stitch before I take a break and do things from other series like Adventure Time and Okamiden.
